  25. It sounds like the little "clutch" spring inside the 
  26. ribbon advance mechanism broke.  If you are lucky
  27. you might be able to configure a new "hook" on
  28. the remaining piece to repair it.  If not, it might
  29. be pretty hard to find a new spring.  I think that
  30. Comm-Tech Computer Services (314-291-0114) had some
  31. at one time.  It might be worth a call to find out.
